With Batman possibly being the most cinematically successful superhero there has ever been , it ’s a hot commodity for every film producer — even comedy director — as there are just so many directions to go in and so many different interpretations of the caped crusader to choose from .

In the mirthful book reality , Batman follow in many different soma . Sometimes he is n’t Bruce Wayne , sometimes he ’s poor and homeless , and sometimes he ’s even a vampire . But even the blatantly hysteric interpretations have a sight of merit to them , and behind every one of them   is   the pure music director to give it the in force film adaptation potential .

Batman: Gothic (Directed by Jordan Peele)

Gothicstands as one of the most interesting Batman lifelike novels as it gives readers a glimpse into what Bruce Wayne was like as a kid before his parents were murdered , which is something audiences have never see before . On top of that , the tarradiddle is closer to horror than thriller , and it take on Bruce ’s family relationship with religion . And some scenes run to be quite a trip .

Enter Jordan Peele , who is not only known for surreal narratives that are caput - misstep themselves , but he has prove himself as a lead director in the repulsion musical style . Peele is know to marry his movies with social and economical messages , and organized religion is for certain on   his inclination   of topics he ’s waiting to tick off .

Batman: Earth One (Directed by Kathryn Bigalow)

Acting almost like a remix ofBatman : Year One — which has been adapted in toone of the well animated Batman movies — Earth Oneis heavily rout in the back fib between Jim Gordon and Batman , but the graphic novel make a few major tweaks . For freshman , Batman is n’t all he ’s cracked up to be , as he make a lot of mistakes , loses fights , and his gadgets scantily work .

Then there ’s Alfred , who is n’t so much of a bring - you - breakfast - in - bottom type Alfred , but a former MI6 agent . Bigalow would be a perfect match with this fabric , as she has always brought a realistic linear perspective to mind that the modal mortal just ca n’t compass , such as   being in a bomb disposal team inThe Hurt Locker . Her moving picture are exciting , thrilling , and often pathological , exactly likeEarth One .

Batman: The Man Who Laughs (Directed by David Fincher)

The human beings Who Laughschronicles the first interaction that the Joker and Batman ever had . It ’s a Caterpillar and mouse thriller between a deranged sociopath and a tough guy who will stop at nothing to put an destruction to his topsy-turvyness , and it isdrenchedin noir . With all that being said , it is eerily resonant ofSeven , David Fincher ’s first stroke of brain .

Though it is n’t just the similarity between pic that makes Fincher the perfect gentleman for the line of work , but   it ’s the fashion that even his   booster are all disheveled loner with press full of demons . And the means his pic front rainy , gloomy , and gothic , it ’d be easy to trust that most of his movies are already base in Gotham .

Batman: Venom (Directed by Darren Aronofsky)

Aronofsky had been attach to a Batman film in the past times , as he was intalks to direct an adaptation ofYear Onebefore the studio apartment in conclusion went with Nolan andBatman Begins . There ’s no doubtfulness that Aronofsky ’s moving-picture show would have been much unlike . However , the surreal director would well adaptVenom .

Venomis perfect for Aronofsky as there is still enough trauma in the floor for Aronofsky to get stuck into . After fearing that he is n’t strong enough to go along struggle crime , Batman turns to drugs that crap him experience three times as strong , which is something that Aronofsky has search to no end forRequiem For A Dream .

Whatever Happened To The Caped Crusader (Directed by Quentin Tarantino, Martin Scorsese, James Cameron, Steven Spielberg)

InWhatever Happened To The Caped Crusader , Gotham believes Batman to be all in , and several of Wayne ’s friend and curse say their own floor of how they think his death happened — each with wildly dissimilar versions of the upshot . The movie should be set up likean anthology film , in which there ’s a dissimilar director for each segment .

Each director would   make one of the stories told by Catwoman , Joker , Gordon , and Two Face , severally . The directors have to be wildly unlike with their own vivid expressive style , as if it ’s being severalize by part with their own distinct imagery and personalities .

Batman And Dracula: Red Rain (Directed by David Lynch)

There ’s a lot of thing about Batmanthat make no sense , but the crossover between Batman and Dracula was utterly derisory . However , long before there was a vampire craze , this novel was write and was a massively interesting concept , as all of Gotham ’s citizens are turning into lamia leaving Batman as the only one who can stop it — except , the cap crusader is turning into a lamia , too .

AsRed Rainis perfectly derisory at it ’s very core , there ’s no point in even trying to make any sensation out of it — and for that reason , David Lynch would best serve as director on this one . Lynch would put together some attractively saturnine shots and take advantage of its cockeyed narrative .

Arkham Asylum: A Serious House On Serious Earth (Directed by Zack Snyder)

Though it has been claimed thatA Serious House On Serious Earthistoo dark to be adaptedinto a movie , a horror take on the story would be the most exciting , terrific , and impressively daring move made by Warner Bros. in terms of the iconic character . Just imagine a horror movie based solely in Arkham Asylum with leap scares around every corner .

Though Zack Snyder has made several DC comics movies often to resoundingly negative review , every part of those films that featured Batman were great , and it was clear that all Snyder wanted to do was make a badass Batman movie . And he would be nifty at directing repulsion , as Batman ’s   introduction inBvS , where people literally touch on to him as the devil , is   utterly terrifying .

The Grim Knight (Directed by Michael Bay)

While Batman ’s only rule is purportedly that he will never murder anyone , that has been totally cast out of the window and the caped crusader is flog from foreland to toe with car guns inThe Grim Knight . Batman look more like one of the fraud inThe Dark Knightfilm than the man ’s greatest detective .

Michael Baydoesn’t have a large path recordwhen it arrive to take pic . And any director who commence their hands on a Batman movie had better be the thoroughgoing fit as they ’d be pull asunder by fans otherwise . That sound out , Bay would be perfect forThe Grim Knight , as he is the arbiter   of deafen explosions and grandiose torpedo fights . The Grim Knightcertainly accept the kinds of impropriety with playfulness that Bay would know how to handle .

Batman: Flashpoint (Directed by David Cronenberg)

Flashpointsubverts almost every expectation buff have of Batman , Gotham , and the Rogues Gallery . In an alternate macrocosm , after that notorious   dark walk home with his parents , Bruce Wayne does n’t find his parent ’ slaying — instead , Thomas and Martha Wayne witness the execution of their child .

After that , Thomas Wayne becomes a much more brutal Batman , and Martha , struggling to get by with her Logos ’s dying , goes crazy and turns into the Joker .   When it comes to filming the almost Shakespearian - like tragedy , there ’s nobody better for it than David Cronenberg , who has directedThe Thingand the morbidly depressingThe Fly .

Batman: Year One (Directed by Shane Black)

Year Oneis one of the most famed Batman lifelike novels of all meter and is one of the most notable work of fiction in the intermediate ,   focusing on Commissioner Gordon just as much as it does on Batman . Being about two uncontrollable , hardened adult male who enforce the legal philosophy in two strikingly different ways , the film could n’t be more perfect for Shane Black .

The story is similar in vein toLethal Weapon , one ofBlack ’s best and most famous screenplays . Not only that , but the graphic novel is much darker , introducing a red light district of Gotham and feature prostitutes , which is even a trope of Black ’s . It being a Shane Black movie , it ’ll have to take spot at Christmastime , though .
