Batmanhas an incredible Rogues Gallery that ’s full of iconic antagonists , but Marvel recentlycalled outthe villains for perpetuate mental health stereotype inSpider - Gwen : Gwenverse # 3 .   Glam Goblin mock how many supervillains have worked in the genial health sphere , clearly referring to Batman ’s most popular enemy .

However , theBatmanmovies are full of so many other bewitching role outside of the recognizable supervillains , but despite being great , they ’ve only shown up once . Between weaselly district lawyer , theatrical section store owner , and impersonation of forties gangsters , Gotham is full of amazing characters who do n’t jade ness or empurpled suits .

Coleman Reese

Coleman Reese is the Wayne Enterprise employee who attempt to bribe Bruce Wayne after finding out that he ’s Batman inThe Dark Knight . And though it does n’t mould out for him , he seems like the only Gotham civilian who has two brain cells to rub together . The billionaire proprietor of a company that has memory access to countless military weapons system is clearly the Caped Crusader , but everybody except for Reese seems clueless .

There was atheory that   Coleman might be the Riddlerin theDark Knightuniverse , as Mr. Reese sounds an awful mess like " Mysteries . " But writer - director Christopher Nolan has always been one to lay down clues that might not go anywhere . In The Dark Knight stand up , a crowd member held up a sign where the " universal gas constant " was Robin ’s logo , and while John Blake ’s real name might have been revealed to be Robin , it was n’t quite as substantial as seeing him in the iconic - but - embarrassing turnout .

John Daggett

Ben Mendelsohn is a great reference actor , as he always play the weaselly , demanding scoundrel who suppose he has more power than he does , but he always has somebody to respond to . That ’s no unlike from his purpose of John Daggett inThe Dark Knight Rises , as John is a ample but weak man of affairs who shape with Bane to take over Wayne Enterprises . He thinks money will get him exactly what he wants , but that ’s where Bane gives him a terrific backwash - up call .

Though John Daggett is an original character created by Nolan , he is clearly establish on Roland Daggett fromBatman : The Animated Series , and it ’s a testament to how imaginative the show was . The Animated Series make many part , and Roland is one of the rafts of fascinating characters that originated in the show .

Gil Colson

The Batmanis the first movie of a trilogy , have in mind that every original character in the film has only had one appearance . But given Colson ’s terminal scene in the motion-picture show , it ’s a safe bet to say that he wo n’t be back forThe Batman 2 .   Like John Daggett , Gil Colson is another crooked and weaselly character , but , as he ’s the District Attorney , he ’s one of the most corrupt .

Colson had a black end , but it was a result of his own corrupt actions . While Gil is pathetic down to his very core , there ’s something oddly funny about the way he carry himself . Whether he ’s doing drugs in the Iceberg Lounge or he has a bomb strap around his neck , he has the same comic   anxiousness , and both times , Colson steal the show from Batman .

Dr. Chase Meridian

Before Rachel Dawes in theDark Knighttrilogy , Bruce Wayne ’s love interest in the motion-picture show were n’t all that three - dimensional , but Dr. Chase Maridian ( Nicole Kidman ) inBatman Foreveris an interesting grammatical case .   Chase does some confutative things to say the least , as she ’s Bruce Wayne ’s therapist but immediately starts a relationship with him , which sure enough must be against some code of conduct of the American Psychological Association .

The MD   might be the worst written theatrical role ever written   for aBatmanmovie , but as is the case with the whole ofBatman evermore , it ’s so preposterously entertaining . Kidman make love what kind of film it is too , as she completely overact it up in a wonderfully campy way and perfectly matches Val Kilmer ’s overly dramatic vigour .

Vicki Vale

Batman has had load of love interest , range from other masked vigilantes to damozel in distress . Vicki Vale fits more into the   latter , as she ’s constantly hold captive by the Joker in 1989’sBatman . But that does n’t intend she is n’t interesting , as she ’s Batman ’s Lois Lane .

Vicki   is a diarist for the Gotham Gazette , which leads to her sleuth around Wayne Manor and observing Bruce ’s uproariously weird habits , such as literally sleeping upsidedown like a squash racket . Because she was such an crucial character in the 1989 movie , it ’s weird that she was n’t in the follow - upBatman Returns . However , Vale was in an other draftof the screenplay ’s subsequence , but she was supersede by Selina Kyle .

Max Shreck

MostBatmanmovies have a 3rd opponent that ’s some kind of corrupt businessman , and Max Shreck ( Christopher Walken ) is that token character inBatman Returns . But   Shreck comes very nigh to being a weird and wonderful villain that could be found in the Caped Crusader ’s Rogues Gallery .

Walken is so bemusing and weird as Max , and his spiritual look and quiet minacious altercation make him the most memorable persona of the 1992 picture . That ’s saying something when the Penguin is biting the great unwashed ’s nose off in the same movie . And Max   goes out with the perfectly over - the - top   fatality to match his character

Arnold Flass

Just like Ben Mendelsohn , Mark Boone Junior is a terrific eccentric actor   who generally plays sleazeball untrusty pig . Along with2 Fast 2 Furious , Junior ’s most noted office in which he plays just that is as Arnold Flass inBatman Begins .

Not only is the humanity of Gotham full of corrupt government officials and corrupt business community , but the city is flooded with crooked copper too . The good lesson of that is Flass , and queerly enough , out of all the terrible things he did , such as tipping off the mafia , the matter that made audiences root against him the most was when he did n’t pay for a falafel .

Dr. Jason Woodrue

Dr. Jason Woodrue is Poison Ivy ’s Bos and Bane ’s inBatman & Robin , and   the scientist is undoubtedly the most theatrical character in anyBatmanmovie . Given that he ’s a typical mad scientist archetype , he earn Doc Brown and Dr. Stranglove seem whole civil and down to Earth .

However ,   Woodrue is a much bigger character not just in Batman lore but in DC at large . The character is also known as Floronic Man and first appeared in aGreen Lanterncomic book and then inSwamp Thing .   As Batman even mention Superman by name in the 1997 movie , Schumacher lowkey create a shared universe long before the MCU and DCEU , and it ’s part ofwhat makes Batman & Robin underrated .

John Blake

ThoughThe Dark Knight Riseshas its critics , it ’s still the good moving picture in the trilogy . The picture show has its plot of ground holes , but it ’s the most challenging Batman movie ever and succinctly wraps up the series in a heartfelt way , despite having impossibly high expectations .

Part of what makes the threequel so keen is John Blake , the Gotham City bull who was maybe even more passionate about the city and more sacrificial than Batman . Some might argue that the fact that John ’s name was a veil and that he was really Robin was so transparent , and the large reveal lead to a few center - rolls from viewers . But John Blake himself was a truly unique delineation of the Boy Wonder , if he can be called that .

Sal Maroni

Audiences will have take heed Sal Maroni ’s name countless times in the past , as he ’s refer in bothThe BatmanandBatman Forever , but he only decently boast inThe Dark Knight .   base on his strong-arm appearance in the movie , Sal ( Eric Roberts ) is completely different from how he has been depicted in other forms of media in the past . In the movie , he simply looks like Roberts , but Roberts ' portrayal of the mobster is so effective . The actor look and sound like a gangster , and it ’s delightfully impersonation - esque .

It ’s fascinating how unphased the mobster is by all of the insaneness going on around him inThe Dark Knight . He has a " just another day in the authority " position when he sees Two - case for the first time ,   and even when Batman has him hanging over a building several flaws up , he ’s mocking the masked vigilante ’s method .
