Beetlejuicehas long been a favoriteTim Burton filmamong audiences . It starsMichael Keatonas the legendary titular fiber , and he represent the persona well . He ’s witty , he ’s sarcastic , he ’s got an unforgettable personality , and he ’s unquestionably freaky .
Beetlejuice has his fair percentage of comedic moments , but sometimes Beetlejuice could be quite fell , especially when it fare to his scare tactics . He was insistent and pushy , and he liked doing thing his direction – which did n’t work out so well for him , though audiences did get a few laughs along the way .
FUNNY: Kicking The Tree & Swearing
Beetlejuice is miff thatBarbara ( Geena Davis)andAdam ( Alec Baldwin)left their meeting with him early on , and manifestly takes it in person . The suspicious matter about this is that he claim they ’re " work with a professional person here ! , " though it ’s far from professional when he subsequently kick back over a nearby tree .
This – and his uproariously tempestuous bombast that included some swearing – is a sign that Beetlejuice was n’t stable and could n’t be trusted under any consideration but unluckily for Adam , Barbara and the Deetz family , they had n’t figure the last of him .
PLAIN MEAN: Eating The Fly
Not only is this particular instance incredibly disgusting , but it ’s passably roughshod . Beetlejuice is under the memorial park in the Maitlands ' model up in the bean , and all the consultation envision are his hands as he beckon the poor fly towards him , tempting him with food for thought in the form of a Zagnut .
The poor fly shrieking " help me ! " more than once as he ’s pulled into the hole , where it ’s at long last eaten by Beetlejuice . Beetlejuice obviously had the Zagnut , so why not wipe out that instead ?
FUNNY: Test Your Strength!
WhenLydia ( Winona Ryder)summons Beetlejuice to save Barbara and Adam , the first thing he does is appear the right way in the middle of the model , genus Circus - quick , and immediately protrude off with a bit to " test your strength . " It does n’t work out well for Maxie Dean , Charles ' former boss , and his married woman , as they ’re move through the roof thanks to Beetlejuice ’s human activity .

Beetlejuice could have only answered " Yes " and threw in a snide remark or two rather than traumatizing his likely guest . It ’s no wonder Adam and Barbara did n’t need to do business with him !
FUNNY: Flirting With Barbara
While decidedly inappropriate consider Beetlejuice was chevvy Barbara , it ’s also risible because of how disgusted she is with him and how persistent he is in twist . He even has the audaciousness to ask Adam if he ’s get a crack with Barbara at all . She ’s already happily married and even if she were n’t , it ’s doubtful Barbara would ’ve fall for Beetlejuice anyway .
He kisses her without permit , he flirts with her , and he even prove to count up her dress . Beetlejuice has no boundaries , but this is part of his lineament ’s overall comedy and raunchy appeal .
PLAIN MEAN: Not Caring About Lydia’s Struggle
Lydia meets Beetlejuice in the attic at her darkest percentage point , after she ’s written a farewell varsity letter and expresses a desire to conk . Beetlejuice does ask why , but he ’s not too hung up on Lydia ’s reasoning . Instead , as common , he ’s more focussed on himself , wanting something from Lydia instead of prove to win over her to keep on endure .
That undertaking is left to Barbara and Adam , who were well suited to talk to Lydia anyway when compared to Bettlejuice , who was a curious ghost at best . Still , this import in time shows how selfish and direful Beetlejuice can really be .

He ponder over the fact that marriage is a grown life - changing decision and that if he was to ever get hitched , he was only going to do it once .
Despite such deep cerebration and a rare moment of sincere reflexion from the eccentric ghost , it does n’t take Beetlejuice long to go out front and marry someone he does n’t even know – rent alone someone who is n’t in full approval of the marriage to begin with ( more on that later on ) .
PLAIN MEAN: That Time He Turned Into A Snake
Beetlejuice claims he was just doing his business in getting rid of the Deetz family from Adam and Barbara ’s home , but this was a grave and cruel trick even so .
Not only does he basically scare the living daylights out of the said family and Otho , but he could have earnestly wound them in his monstrous snake form . Especially Charles , whom he dropped from the 2nd floor principal - first . He may need to join the mortal world , but Beetlejuice clearly has no respectfulness for mortal life .
FUNNY: Conjuring The Inferno Room
After being called back by Barbara accompany the ophidian incident , Beetlejuice lift up back in the model , feel " uneasy , " as he puts it . There ’s nothing like a near scare to get Beetlejuice in the mood for some activity from the polar sex activity , which is apparent in the " Inferno Room " in the model , featuring euphony , dance and plenty of girls .
Naturally , Adam did n’t build such a thing – it ’s an original origination of Beetlejuice ’s idea , or in this case , his desires .
PLAIN MEAN: Forcing Lydia To Marry Him
Lydia did n’t have much choice , want to save Barbara and Adam who were clearly disintegrate . Feeling she had no other resourcefulness , she turned to Beetlejuice to economise them and agreed to his condition of marriage . The affair is , Beetlejuice never should ’ve made her go through with it , let alone pull her to make the commitment to lead off with .
Lydia is still a child and was in no way ready for marriage , especially to someone like Beetlejuice . The only person he deal for was himself , so of course Beetlejuice forced her into married couple just for his own sake and exemption .
