It pick up critical praise in many categories , even gain multiple awards for costume , cinematography , and production design .   With the alive conversation about diversity in film / Hollywood , the film has been lauded as a cultural   watershed .

The predominantly Black castportrayed complex , nuanced , and relatable charactersthat made the looker wish well that they could be on screen at all clock time . However , for the rice beer of the story , some characters received more screen time than others .   However , one thing is sure : each character is memorable in their elbow room .

Least: M’Baku

He also furnish some comic easing with   his fair share of dark jokes , including jeopardize to feed Agent Ross to his kid , only to uncover that they are vegetarians .

Most: Everett K. Ross

Agent Ross   is the closest foreigner to bridge over the gap between Wakanda and the extraneous worldly concern , making his kinship with the nation   a very gray-headed one . This is made even more apparent with his interaction with Klaue .

His comportment in the cinema is strictly as a side character , rather than as a white savior , which is also an important route that the film make . For example , Ross assists Shuri during the battle against Killmonger , while it is her idea and direction that are the master focal point of the scene .

Least: Ramonda

Ramonda is the Queen Mother of Wakanda and , although she is not a primary case in the story , she has one of the most sympathetic portrayals in the film . At her very core , she is a female parent , worrying about and raising her two children , which comes through attractively in Angela Bassett ’s depiction .

Throughout the film , she is the portrait of self-worth and grace , which only adds to her representation as a regal figure .

Most: Okoye

Okoye is another example of a   strong female character . She is the leader of an all - distaff group of warriorsand she has a sort of sisterly bond with T’Challa , as she perpetually tantalize him about his ex , Nakia , yet her commitment to him is unwavering .

Okoye does not get a good deal of screen time   compared to T’Challa or Shuri , but she is often register in conflict scenes defend the land .

Least: Zuri

Zuri , despite his limited screen door time , oblige a great hatful of import as a character . As an elder of the tribe , he is deeply connected to the Wakanda civilisation and its spirituality , which makes for a humanizing experience for the looker .

Before he is killed by Killmonger , he break his involvement in the killing of the latter ’s father to T’Challa . He represent a direct link to T’Challa ’s turmoil about his father as an fallible design and his use as a drawing card .

Most: Shuri

Shuri might be one of the most relatable characters in the cinema , so the fact that she gets her clean share of screen time is a fillip . Not only is she T’Challa ’s mischievous young sister who forever continue him   down to Earth , but she is also a genius that gives Tony Stark a run for his money .

She is an amazing part model for anyone who watch her on - screen , as she   embodies the perfect equaliser between carefree and tech - savvy .   Her creativity and ingenuity are actively praise , and her piece of work is valued in her society .

Least: Ulysses Klaue

Not only is this character reference memorable because of the amazing portrayal by Andy Serkis , but also because of what he represents . He is a gaga and slightly half-crazed character , who is strictly out for himself and his covetousness .

He is kill halfway through the flick by Erik after he turn away to take the latter to Wakanda .   Although he is not the focus of the cinema , it would have been interesting to see where the character went with a little extra screen time .

Most: Erik “Killmonger” Stevens

Killmonger is the elementary opponent of the filmand T’Challa ’s foil . Phenomenally act by Michael B. Jordan , Killmonger is a   man suffering from year of cultural and generational trauma who is trying to avenge , not only his male parent but his whole wash .

He represents the main difference in the film because he wants to arm his fellow Black Americans against their oppressors . It is , unfortunately , a very veridical   topic in American society , but his personation of it on projection screen is all the more of import .

Least: T’Chaka

T’Challa ’s Fatherhood lost his life during a terrorist blast inCaptain America : Civil War , so he is only present in T’Challa ’s imaginativeness throughout the pic . This ensue in him deliver the least cover metre out of all the film ’s persona .

However , his presence is important , as it represents T’Challa ’s developing from a unenlightened loss leader to a confident king . He learns from his father ’s misapprehension and then adjudicate to hammer his path . T’Chaka ’s entree of his past mistakes also serve to further humanize him for the interview .

Most: T’Challa

lie with within theMCUas " Black Panther , " T’Challa is the prince of Wakanda . He experiences many upheavals as he address with finding out the beingness of his cousin-german and realizing that his father is not as perfect as he once thought .

Since this film go around around his story and evolution , it is understandable that he receive the most screen time . This allows viewers to see him   as a leader , blood brother , son , and , finally , a human being . This , along with Chadwick Boseman ’s masterful playacting , makes T’Challa a phenomenal character .
