Yet despite the fatalism that characterise so many of Daredevil ’s relationships , one woman has hold up to tell the fib : Mary Walker , also known as Typhoid Mary . create by writer Ann Nocenti and artist John Romita Jr. ,Typhoid Mary is a dangerous assassinwith multiple personality and telekinetic powers , who was rent by Kingpin to make Matt Murdock fall in making love with her . It is Typhoid who calls out Matt ’s disturbing love lifetime inElektra#100 , written by Ann Nocenti , with artwork by Sid Kotian and Edgar Delgado .
In the comic book , Typhoid Mary and Elektra clash after the former is sent by Kingpin to protect the latter ’s target . During the fight , Mary nose atElektra and Matt ’s kinship . Mary enunciate that Daredevil is on " a God trip " , and is only concerned in Elektra because he thinks that , if he can have sex someone as evil as her , he will save his own somebody . After that , he will " get around back to a respectable girl " and leave Elektra again . While Mary is obviously endeavor to destabilise her opponent , she does make some good points . Matt has always been attracted by " bad " womanhood , such as Elektra , but his Catholic backdrop intend he is always labor by a sense of guilt feelings , which turn into a desire to " bring through " these women and make them " effective . " typhoid fever , with her multiple personality , was the living incarnation of this complex . Mary Walker is a sweet but terrified woman whileTyphoid Mary is a brash , unapologetic killer .
Ann Nocenti is dead cognizant of this moral force and called it out forthis specialElektraissue , which show in a new epoch for the character . Mary also articulate that " The more violent Daredevil gets , the more women sleep with him " , which is disturbing but also part on-key . Matt ’s tormented personality and dangerous life always draw women , and he almost never cared about what the issue would be for them . Among the many Marvel part , Daredevilis the one with the most distressing honey life , and it is very interesting that one of his classic writers took a chance to call it out .
