So , it ’s hard to blame him for being unsafe when he was bullied so much , and he also did n’t spend all of his life feel bad about himself .

When Neville is younger , it might seem like he should n’t be sorted into Gryffindor .
In some ways , he fits better as a Hufflepuff because he has a rather gentle disposition and is n’t as flashy about things as many Gryffindors . However , his loyalty is strong , andhe has many of the best Gryffindor trait . He definitely give care about the Friend he has and is unforced to serve them no matter what .
Worst: Easily upset
As a pre - teen , Neville get tump over middling easily when things find . Once again , it ’s hard to completely pick him for thisas he was often picked on , so , after being bother over and over , it makes sentiency he would start to get disordered .
However , he did sometimes oppose a flake dramatically such as when he would suffer thing .

As theHarry Potterbooks are told from Harry ’s position , fans do n’t always get as much information on some of the side characters . Harry does n’t have intercourse all that much about how Neville spends his life history , but from what we do see of Neville , it ’s clear he ’s ’ a compassionate individual .
Neville is n’t the type of individual to ruffian or harass others , and he mostly just want to have friend and be cover kindly . He himself has been bullied , but he does n’t turn this pain in the ass around on others .
Worst: Easily embarrassed
Being a pre - teen and teenager can be really rocky as it ’s a time of life when people worry a bunch about what their peers imagine . So , seeing as how Neville was never a cool or pop youngster by any means , it shit gumption he would feel embarrassed by this .
He does also seem to develop out of this trait , but he probably would have found friends easy if he just accept some of the more embarrassing thing that happened to him in tread .
Best: Invested
Neville might not be as good at illusion right on away as scholar such as Hermione and Harry , but just because he ’s not immediately and naturally talented does n’t mean he does n’t try severely .
Neville is great at Herbology , and he devotes a lot of prison term to plants and their report . He also does try very severely when he joinsDumbledore ’s Army , and there he starts to catch on once he ’s not being treat ill by his teachers .
Worst: Distant
Neville is a more soft - spoken and introverted person . Because of this , there are time when he comes off as being more distant and aloof . While he ’s a kind and caring person , he does n’t really endue all that much time in getting to know other masses either .
This is likely because he does n’t feel that other people would want to take the time to get to know him , so it ’s fortunate he becomes more confident with time because he ’s unquestionably a wonderful person .
Best: Courageous
Neville has many howling Hufflepuff traits , but he makes the most sense as a Gryffindor because he exemplifies a distich of the best trait of the mansion .
bravery is an attribute that Neville has in excess even if it might take him a while to fully see this in himself . Whether it was sticking up to the trio at the end ofHarry Potter and the Sorcerer ’s Stoneor cutting off Nagini ’s head , Neville was a brave soul .
Worst: Too sensitive
Overall , it ’s heavy to chance bad personality traits that Neville has . For one thing , we just do n’t eff all that much about him except for what we see from Harry , and for another , most of the thing that might seem like poor trait have more to do withthe direction he was treat by other mass around him .
But , one of the few negative traits Neville possessed was being a snatch too tender .
Best: Brave
Along with being courageous , Neville was also quite gay . This becomes more apparent as he gets honest-to-god , and this trait can be seen especially at the end of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows .
However , throughout that entire book , Neville is being very audacious even if Harry did n’t see it . Neville , along with Luna and Ginny , started up Dumbledore ’s Army again and create a resistance under Voldemort ’s nose .
