Strongest: She Can Smell Out Children
Mary ’s fully grown power is the ability to smell nestling . At the beginning of the motion-picture show , the Sanderson motion-picture show are organize to suck the psyche out of a little young lady named Emily . When Emily ’s pal Thackery sneaks into their sign of the zodiac to save her , Mary smell him like a shot and the sisters stopped what they were doing to determine him .
We see her power at piece of work again when they ’re brought back from the dead and she smells Dani , Max , and Allison . On Halloween night , she also smells children but is confused when everyone is dressed up as monsters and the like . Regardless , without Mary ’s olfactory property , the Sanderson sisters would be in trouble .
Weakest: Is She The Idiot In The Group?
Winifred may have called Sarah idiotic but Mary is n’t too far away . Mary is forever gum to herself and a shade confused when Winifred explains their deputation .

Strongest: She’s An Intimidating Force
Mary is n’t as intimidating as Winifred but she ’s a top moment . She does anything Winifred inquire of her and experience how to scare children into listening to them .
Throughout the movie , there were multiple instances when she growl at children . The growl was enough to startle the children and get them to do whatever she need . That in itself is an intimidate force to deal with .
Weakest: She’s Naive
Mary and Sarah are more naive than Winifred but Mary may have Sarah beat . Although life 300 years in the future is surprising for Mary , she ’s flip off by everything . This proves that she ’s not as hard as a witch as she think . She had no idea nestling were dressed in costume , she was entirely confused by the theme of commercials , she tried muting Satan ’s wife with a remote control , and she lose faith when Winifred does .
She also got thrash around by Allison at the beginning of the motion-picture show , forgetting that she might not be as strong as she thought she was . The Sanderson sisters are also naive to the fact that aliveness in the ' 90s is a faster stride than it was in 300 year ago and everyone is smart .
Strongest: She Thought Of The Calming Circle
When the Sanderson sisters are give chase Max , Dani , andAllison throughout Salem , Mary feel how stressed everyone is . To calm her sisters , she suggest forming a " calming circle . "
Winifred is in a flash against the idea but changes her mind at the thought of their parents . The three get together in a rope and get down have deep breaths . She ’s also very caring and takes care of Winifred when she ’s down . Without cool it Winifred , who be intimate how many more thing could have gone wrong .
Weakest: She Wasn’t A Strong Flyer
When the women grab their brooms out of retreat and fly into the dark , Mary is the only one who seems hoary . It may have been different in the booksbut Sarah and Winifred flew with easiness as Mary accidentally sat on her broom too roughly .
It happens again after the sisters ' broom were stollen and the Sanderson sisters had to take dissimilar Scots heather . Winifred took a dusty broom , Sarah took a mop , and Mary took a emptiness . Unfortunately for her , Mary could n’t vanish a void and the electric cord terminate up being the easiest thing for the child to seize on to .
Strongest: She’s Literally The Strongest
We would n’t say that Mary is the impregnable mentally but she for sure is the strongest physically . She manhandles everyone in her track and is able to wrangle anyone they necessitate for their spells .
With Dani and Emily , It ’s Mary who grabs them and thrust them in the chair while Winifred quickly finds the perfect enchantment to practice against them . Without her strength , Winifred and Sarah would be lost . The adhesiveness between these sister is what split up the movie from other Halloween - theme movies .
Weakest: She’s A “Yes Man”
Are the Sanderson sisters as close as they appear or are Sarah and Mary just afraid of Winifred ?
