I want to talk aboutUnhinged , obviously , but I wanted to kick off by getting a bit more info on Solstice mostly . What is the mission financial statement for Solstice ?

Was there ever any thought on your end about delaying it ? That ’s what a lot of studios have done with their mega - blockbuster ?
We did . That was our first thought . We were sitting on September 4 , and then COVID encounter and A Quiet Place 2 moved down to our date . So , we commence face later on in the Fall and Winter and next Spring .

Then we talked to the big three chain , and a number of other chain , about what they were planning to do . And it was right in the same area . First of all , without Tenet , we would not be here . So , we ’re grateful for that . 2nd of all , everybody got comfortable with us going first and Tenet going two hebdomad later . When I say everybody , I think of the theatre owners , and obviously Warner Brothers . The reasons for that is we ’re kind of the ardent - up act at the concert . We ’re not the Rolling Stones ; we ’re the small band that ’s attempt to make a name for themselves . And that ’s hunky-dory .
One of the affair we did detect , though , was that every meter there was a public wellness vexation , all the focus was on where Tenet would go . They would find a date with the theater owners , and then we would move to two weeks before that . We were very much dependent on what their decision - making process was , and that ’s all right .

They ’ve certainly made it harder to get people off their couches and into a movie theater . They ’re also a competitor for talent ; for actor and directors and writers and all that .
But this idea that movie theaters are just about bushed presumes that consumers think about only continue home ever to watch things . And the pandemic has proven that ’s certainly not true . I ca n’t wait to get out of my house . People want to do both .
Hypnoticis also very exciting . Could you give us any update on the production side of things ?
We were schedule to start film on April 27 , and we were heavily into pre - production on March 13 when we got shut down . That was in LA . We then tried to move the movie to Austin , but unluckily , the health situation did not get serious .
We looked concisely at London , and we ’ve now enter out that we can do the movie in Vancouver , and we ’re attempt to get that done this Fall .
