Although this would ’ve meant that All For One would have eventually contorted what was distinctly a pure desire into something horrifying despite being born from negativeness , it would have least bug out out of love .
But that ’s no longer the case . Much like how Toya die that night , so , too , did the flames he once wielded . Those fires had been successfully snuffed out for good . ( Less figuratively , Toya would have literally expire , if he did n’t receive any aesculapian attention . ) Instead , All For One actually helpedcreatenew flames that were alone put up out of a desire for payback . The only poetic justice from this disaster is that his new scars are the event of these raw twisted flames . Yes , this up-to-the-minute chapter reveals that All For One actually had to stitch him together like some form of amalgamated monster , butbefore the Todoroki household brawl even commences , Dabi also tells his buddy Shoto that these flames have been cauterize away his molder flesh . So rather than have the flame that were born from his despair cut him live , he is literally being burn by his need for vengeance .
Even if this late interpretation causes reader to feel as though this entire situation actuallyimproves Dabi ’s situation and Todoroki reunion as a whole , devotee can , at least , accord that this latest development - most peculiarly the introduction of these newfangled flames and the ducking of his old fires - actually preface a whole new level to his overall story .
