Nicolas Cage : It was probably the most daunting challenge I ’ve ever had in 43 years of my life and in filmmaking . I was terrified . I was worried that it would fall back into a kind of Andy Samberg SNL takeoff ; backsliding into imitation . However , Tom Gormican compose me a note , and it was an sound letter . It was a sensible letter , and I could tell he was a literal film enthusiast and had stake in some of the other work , and that he wanted to tell a story about citizenry .

He ’s a really overnice man . I enjoyed operate vastly with Pedro , and I think that enjoyment work into the movie itself .
