With his new power , he was able to criticise the Shazam power out of Billy ’s category . While it looked like it was go to be a one - on - one fight , Billy gets some unexpected help in the mannequin of Black Adam , and together they managed to take Superboy - Prime out . When the rubble settled , it was revealed that Mr. Mind ’s ascendance over Billy ’s pappa was pretty thorough , and Billy ’s founder had no idea where he was , want nothing to do with Billy at all .

As sad as this is personally for Billy , it also mean that there is still a emptiness in the Shazam Family . The Wizard does have a vision of what looks to be the future at the destruction of the event , saying that Billy ’s keen achievement will be redeeming the 7th champion , and a scene showsnone other than Black Adamsitting with the residual of the Shazam Family at the Rock of Eternity .
While this does make a certain amount of horse sense ( Black Adam leaves the scene with a truce adjust in place with Billy ) , it does seem odd that thecenturies - old magical ruler of Kahndaqwould resolve to join a group of child . On the other hand , he might if it were in service to protect the magical realm . However , what if this is a artifice ? Someone else who might call for Billy ’s help far more with redemption would be Superboy - Prime .
Superboy - Prime is presently in custody with the Justice League , but it seems doubtful he ’ll stay there for long . He’sjust come back to the DC continuity , and it would seem a waste to bury about such a active and currently ruthless character . To have his character redeemed would be a exploit indeed , and would dead be see as one of Billy ’s " great achievements " if that ’s whereShazam!is actually headed . While Black Adam would be a cool addition to the Shazam Family , imagine how heroic it would be to see such a corrupted part yield to the light due to the efforts of Billy Batson .
