ThoughStar Wars : Squadronshave been out for about a month now , the follow-up for the game have been passably up in the air . It seems like sports fan of the dealership and general trajectory simulators find the plot fairly playfulness , as the armed combat and gameplay completely make the player experience as though they are apart of the fight against the Rebel Alliance and the Empire in that galaxy far , far aside .
However , many other rooter have found it a bit lustreless . Flight simulator are pretty hard to get intoso people who are n’t fan may not find it as appealing , and fans who were expect this floor to tie into the wider canon may be painfully disappointed , as the game focuses on raw characters and a time stop many fans are n’t intimate with .
Famous Space Battles
One of the most interesting aspects ofStar Warsis the huge space battles that devotee get to see throughout the films . Usually , these conflict are interrupted by the main lineament as they are accomplishing other end , such as the stinger to Jyn Erso examine to receive the Death Star plans or Luke Skywalker fight against the Emperor and Darth Vader in the second Death Star during the Battle of Endor .
While these cut from distance fight to eccentric are extremely crucial , it also cut audiences off from seeing a space battle from outset to cease during moving picture ( except for the Battle of Yavin , of course . ) It would have been awe-inspiring ifSquadronshad a particular plot manner where players can relivethose famous distance battlesbut through their own eyes as extra pilot program .

fan of the cartoon strip will make out that Leia went to help the New Republic , and Luke adjudicate to travel the galaxy , but if the Rebels and the New Republic were in bother , it would have made sense for the both of them to be there .
The Mandalorian
Though the serial is shortly after the Battle of Endor ( rather than the five years after likeThe Mandalorian ) it would have been interesting to see some kind of sign that may tie in the Empire just after the Emperor ’s fall , to the Empire we see in the Disney+ serial publication .
The Empire is still extremely relevant in both series , which just shows that they do n’t give up well . AfterReturn of the Jedi , many fans just assume that the surrender of Palpatine also mean freedom in the galaxy , but these two forms of medium do not agree . It would have been interesting to see or get a line of Moff Gideon or the Great Purge of Mandalore .
Hera’s Child
While the inclusion of Hera Syndulla , captain of theGhostshipfromStar war Rebelswas amazing and exciting , it also would have been even more amazing if fan were capable to catch ken of her boy . rooter know that Hera aided the Rebels every whole step of the way against the Empire during the state of war . She was at the Battle of Scarif and the Battle of Endor , fighting alongside the Rebel as one of the best pilots in the galax .
But fans of the series also know that she now has a unripened - haired Logos , the Logos of Kanan Jarrus , named Jacen . Jacen was bear the same year as the Battle of Yavin , which would have made him about four or five years old during the events ofStar warfare : squadron . patently , Hera would n’t take the untried boy into battle , but it does beg the question , where was he ?
The Millennium Falcon
Another estimate that would have been amazing forSquadronswould have beenthe ability to pilot theFalcon . Whether it be in a specific game mode or a mission in the story of the game , theMillennium Falconisdefinitely the most famous shipin the Galax urceolata and the fanbase .
It would have been awful if player were able to play at least one missionary post of piloting the famous ship just to get the first - hired hand experience of what it is like .
Other Rebels/Imperials
Though sports fan got to see Hera and Leia ( for a brief minute ) it would have been really gracious to see other celebrated Rebels and imperial beard , such as Lando Calrissian or Han Solo .
While many of the Imperials were killed during or between the Battle of Yavin and Endor , it still would have also been interesting to see more familiar faces in the engagement for the galaxy , especially in this time of uncertainty .
The First Signs Of The First Order
While the First Order from the sequel trilogy still has a long way to go to turn out to power and predominate the galaxy , it would have been fabulously interesting to see the smallest of inklings of foreshadowing to the First Order .
InStar Wars : Bloodline , the book ends with the salary increase of the novel regimen , however , it make it abundantly clear that this upgrade had been long since project out by the inner works of those involved . It would have been incredibly interesting if the Empire in this game had mentionedthis new project or the idea of a new authorities .
Endor
Because the game begins after the Battle of Endor , insure the moon filled with Ewoks and Rebels would have been pretty fun to see . Fans could have seen their character lionise the fall of the Emperor and second Death Star or could have seen the giant outer space post being put down and abandon from blank space .
It would have been an interesting mint to see all the Imperials leaving the slyness to try and turn tail as the Rebels demolish it since rooter have pretty much only ever seen that moment from Luke and Anakin ’s perspective .
More Droids
While the inclusion of mouse and gonk droids , and their interactions , was awesome , it would have been even good with more droids running around the ground . Firstly , Chopper should have been with Heraas he had remain by her side throughout the war and remain Hera ’s astromech , begrudgingly fixing theGhostand perchance even help Hera in taking care of Jacen .
There were many C1 units floating around the Rebel base , but no Chopper . It also would have been interesting if there were more options to custom-make the thespian ’s astromech rather than just have another R2 whole .
