Despite being nothing more than exceptionally resourceful and determined human being , Billy Butcher is arguably one of the most grievous and strongestpeople within the universeofThe Boys . His maintarget is Homelander , but generally Billy is pretty great at confront off againstpeople with superhuman abilitiesand somehow coming out the winner .
It seems like a give that Billy is just the type of person who would be able to come through to the end of a horror movie , but while he would easy defeat some of repulsion ’s most iconic monsters and villains , there are some that would probably wind up get the better of him too .
Could: Damien Thorn
Most multitude would be pretty intimidate by the antichrist , even if it was just a small kid . However , most people are n’t Billy Butcher .
The fact that Damien Thorn is just a lilliputian son would n’t probably throw off Billy for an blink of an eye . It seems like Damien has some undue influence over the people around him , however if Billy knew that an evil kid was running around causing havoche would likely just walk up to him in the street and off him without a 2nd thought .
Couldn’t: The Overlook Hotel

Billy is bad , but it does n’t take very much to push him towards fury , so a unholy hotel that can take possession of him and ram him to do dastardly deeds would n’t have much worry getting what it wants out of him .
Could: Pazuzu
Pazuzu is a demon adequate to of self-possession , and it seems to be very good at emotional and psychological manipulation . However , it would encounter it ’s match with Billy Butcher .
The only emotion thatBilly seems in particular comfortable tapping into is rage , and it seems likely that whatever handling move that Pazuzu tried on Billy would only drive him to toss off it even more quickly and violently .
Couldn’t: Annie Wilkes
Annie Wilkes may just be a human , but if Billy ever found himself in Paul Sheldon ’s position he ’d be in much bigger trouble than he would be if he was face off against a more supernatural terror .
Annie is human , but she ’s extremely volatile and requires a delicate touch . Billy is n’t on the nose a good liar , nor is he particularly patient . He does n’t have it in him to sway and manipulate her in the long terminus without his real feelings coming through .
Could: The Xenomorph
The Xenomorph is one of the most iconic and frightening creatures in film history , and it is an foreigner that is quite hard to kill .
However , Billy is someone who is very creative when it comes to violence , and he is not afraid to go ball to the wall and risk his own life to kill his enemy , which is exactly the disposal that defeat a Xenomorph ask .
Couldn’t: Hannibal Lecter
It seems ironic that Billy would have an easier sentence struggle against mythical wildcat and ogre than he would against even human beings , but it ’s also pretty on brand for his grapheme and goal .
Hannibal Lecter is a terrifying villain not because he ’s unbelievably powerful , but that his skill with genial coercion and manipulation are practiced enough that he convinced a man to feed his own face to dog .
Could: The Thing
The fact that Billy only cares forthe few people he truly knows welland could n’t give a damn about everyone else in the world is tragical in the across-the-board common sense , but would be fantastically convenient if he found himself in a spot going up against the Thing .
He would either be able to suss out a phoney ally in under five minutes , or he would just kill someone he did n’t acknowledge and not take the risk that they were a bogus .
Couldn’t: Freddy Krueger
It ’s strange that in the horror world full of monster , one of the unfeignedly impossible to vote down killers of the world is Freddy Krueger . But when a in series killer becomes the master of the dream globe , it really is pretty much inconceivable to escape him .
Billy would undoubtedly find some creative ways to avoid sleep , but that would only form for so long , and then he ’d be a goner .
Could: Pennywise
Pennywise might be an ancient iniquity from another dimension , but it would look that the only thing want to get the better of him is the belief that he can be defeated .
Many other characters would fall flat on this , but Billy ’s self notion when it comes to start up against creature that are incalculably more powerful than himself is pretty in high spirits . If he believes he can demolish Homelander , he ’d have no problem function up against Pennywise .
Couldn’t: Paimon’s Cult
nuance truly is not Billy ’s strong suit , and the manipulation of a shadowy group of harum-scarum like Paimon ’s craze would plausibly have his sept ripped apart before he even knew what bump to him .
Billy is potent , buthis lonely weakness is the people that he bed , so he would have a problematic time defeating any enemy that could suffer them .
