In the recently releasedThor : Love and Thunder , it seemed like plenty of Asgardian god might die out , but this time the Norse pantheon was spared any further mass wipeout .
However , the movie also introduced many other gods , including Zeus and the Greek pantheon , making one curiosity how powerful the Asgardians are in the luxurious scheme of thing . She was also very solid because she was the one who fought to keep her family together even after Loki became disenchanted .
Frigga did pass inThor : The Dark Worldwhen Malekith attacked , but even in her demise , it was her strength and love that convince Loki to begin his slow bit to the good side . It was his memories of Frigga that facilitate the God of Mischief eventually become a hoagie in his own right .
Loki
Loki is the Asgardian God of Mischief and while he was not born an Asgardian , he has the status thanks to the fact Odin take in him as a child from the land of the Frost Giants . He also has great exponent . On top of his Frost Giant lineage , his adopted mother Frigga taught him hefty Asgardian conjuring trick .
Over the years , Loki more than proved himself in the MCU . He almost conquer Earth , helped Thor defeat Malekith , help in the struggle with Hela and Surtur , and eventually stood up to Thanos . Thanks to prison term travel , Loki is still around and try out to be as resourceful as ever .
Surtur
It is toilsome to think of a being more brawny than Surtur , although Ranker place him below even an Asgardian god that he defeated . In his only appearance , he battled Melakith over 5,000 years ago in the First Dark Elf Conflict , and he leaven his strength and might by shoot down the king of the Dark Elves .
Bor possessed the power of the King of Asgard , ability which he passed down to his son Odin after he fail in a late difference of opinion . His king were never clearly defined , but he was clear one of the most powerful Norse gods in account .
Thor
While Thor is the main Asgardian Italian sandwich in the MCU , and he has shoot down everyone from Malekith to Surtur , Ranker rooter still believe he is not the strongest . When Thor first appear , he was extremely knock-down , but he was also reckless and carried a floor of self - doubt with him .
However , once he learned his powerfulness get from within inThor : Ragnarok , he power up and depict he could put up toe - to - toe with anyone . He could n’t beat Hela in a fight , but he did find a manner to end her scourge . Thor could n’t gravel Gorr the God Butcher , but he also find a way to stop him . Thor ’s power is more than strength , and he might not be the most hefty , but he is someone who will always find a way to gain .
Hela
Unlike in Marvel Comics , Hela is Thor ’s sometime sisterin the Marvel Cinematic Universe . This mean that she has more experience than him , and she showed she had more power than Thor inThor : Ragnarok . In that movie , she destroy Mjölnir , which shock everyone , Thor include .
After this , Hela prove her true power . She went to Asgard and obliterate every Asgardian warrior that had campaign with Thor to protect the Nine Realms for one C . In one fell swoop , she conquered Asgard and it was only when Surtur arrived that she foregather her match and come in fight .
Odin
According to the voters on Ranker , Odin is the most powerful Asgardian god in the MCU . Throughout the movies , Thor did most of the fighting , but there were import where Odin proved that he always held the upper hand over his son . Odin had hold open Asgard and the Nine Realms safe and did so thanks to his huge powers .
It is genuine that Loki did defeat Odin in a manner , but it was through trickery , and it was not something that could end Odin , but only something that could terminate and slow him down . When Odin finally died , he did it his way and knew it was time for him to go . No villain or god ever defeated Odin for good , as he was powerful enough to end thing his way .
