He is a great father and a caring soul , and his friendly relationship with Charlie is also rather endear .
Charlie Swan
Charlie Swan might not have been talked about much when the books first came out , but he ’s become a recent fan - favorite . While he can be a second ungainly and rather mere in his life style , he actually is a near father to Bella .
He is delirious to have her hold out with him , and he is always trying to look out for her in a way that ’s very relatable . His close friendship with Billy and afterward romanticistic kinship with Sue Clearwater were also enjoyable to read about .
Emmett Cullen
Emmett is probably one of the more underrated members ofthe Cullen family line , but he ’s actually just an overall fu character . He ’s not particularly smart or unique or tragic , but this make him a ripe balance to most of the other primary characters .
He ’s extroverted and a entire jock , and he gets along really well with Bella . He might not have many influential moment , but he ’s just a mere character who is easy to like .
Carlisle Cullen
In many way , Carlisle seems like more of a principal part given his influence on his family and that he is such a likable , calm mentor to so many . However , Carlisle is more of an important background character .
He ’s almost impossible not to care as he ’s drive by compassion . He judge to find ways to compromise even with people who do n’t like him , and , through his compassion and self - control , he is able to be a medico despite the obvious challenges that come along with being a vampire .
